Fire Inspector Urich joined the Matlacha/Pine Island Fire Control District in January 2018. Inspector Urich has a bachelor's degree in public safety administration along with multiple other field-related certifications. Inspector Urich not only acts as the District’s Fire Inspector, but she also coordinates all the Public Education, along with all the Community outreach events for the Matlacha/Pine Island Fire Control District. Inspector Urich performs multiple fire inspections on both new construction and annual businesses as well as reviewing pre-fire plans with the fire crews and being the head of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) within the District.
