The Fire Board of the Matlacha/Pine Island Fire Control District holds Special Meetings, Budget & Regular Workshop Meetings and Regular General Business Meetings in the classroom at the Matlacha Pine Island Fire Control District Station One 5700 Pine Island Rd. Bokeelia, Fl 33922.
The next General Meeting will be held on Wednesday September 22nd 2010 at 5:00 p.m.

The Matlacha Pine Island Fire Control District is governed by a board of 5 elected commissioners. They meet on the 4th Wednesday of every month At 5:00 p.m.
They are:
Seat One: John Peckinpaugh Chairman
Seat Two: Ken Honc Commissioner
Seat Three: James Cole Secretary
Seat Four: John Cammick Treasurer
Seat Five: Ken Cox Vice Chair
