Matlacha/Pine Island Fire Control District
November 12, 2010 Special Meeting
Call to Order: Commissioner Cox called the meeting to order at 9:12 a.m.
Roll Call: Commissioners Cox, Cole, Cammick and Honc were present. Commissioner Peckinpaugh excused absence.
Chief Bradley, Engineer Cook and Linda Richter were present.
Business:
1. Discuss Station 4 – Discussion followed in regards on how to get Citizens (public) for the “in the sunshine” ad hoc committee as per letter that was published in the Eagle. There are 5 firefighters interested for the “in the sunshine” ad hoc group as per letter. Commissioners would like outline of who is on the committee, goals and objectives from Firefighters committee by December Special Meeting.
Commissioner Cammick moves to adjourn with Commissioner Cole to second. Motion passed unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 9:37 a.m.

November 12, 2010 Regular Workshop Meeting
Call to Order: Commissioner Cox called the meeting to order at 9:38 a.m.
Roll Call: Commissioners Cox, Cole, Cammick and Honc were present. Commissioner Peckinpaugh excused absence
Chief Bradley, Engineer Cook and Linda Richter were present.
Business:
1. Firefighter Input – Brief discussion follows in regards to recent fires and the firefighters have done a good job in putting fires out and how well they work together. Brief discussion follows in regards to constant training and running calls together makes a big difference.
2. General Business – Starting to get tax money in. All trucks are back up and running. Did have some firefighters lose their mothers and fathers. Our Mechanic Jimmy his father just passed away.
Commissioner Cox states that Chrissy Frahm just passed away also.
Commissioner Cammick moves to adjourn with Commissioner Cole to second. Motion passed unanimously.
